Hi guys! I hope you've all had an awesome Easter break! This last week has really flown by and been busy so I figured I better sit down and start getting some more progress done on this paper. I recently found an interesting article that performed two studies about women and cosmetics. The first study was performed in a lab setting and research from it showed that women who are near ovulation tend to wear more makeup to feel more attractive. They'll also were more revealing and sexy clothing as well. Reading about the study was actually pretty cool. The second study showed that women who go to nightclubs or bars tend to wear more heavy makeup to look more attractive to men, but this is sort of common sense. Most of us do this and I'll admit I even do this when I go out on a date or something like that. The second article I found just discusses the changes makeup has made throughout history and it states that something that is considered attractive in one society may not be attractive in another. Makeup has changed so much throughout history and will continue to change as time goes on. I'm still in the process of coming up with a real good thesis but I feel like I'm making good progress with these interesting articles I've found. Good luck to everyone else on your papers!
